EVENTS for Mana Wahine Week

He Wāhine Pūmanawa 2011

Mana Wahine Week is not administered by any particular department. However, the Ministry of Women's Affairs chooses to highlight the work, achievements and leadership of Māori women during He Wāhine Pūmanawa.

We also choose to call our events 'He Wahine Pumanawa' - the natural talents of women.

The theme is yet to be confirmed.

If your organisation is planning a Mana Wahine event for 2011 and would like to let people know about it, please email

information to us to add to our event list.
