18 September – Pay EquiTEA Suffrage Day Event
We are organising a morning tea in Wellington at 10.30am, Friday 18 September with a cake with 12% missing to get Suffrage Day publicity and media attention.
We will be inviting the Minister of Women’s Affairs to attend and participants will dress in period clothing to draw the connection to Suffrage Day.
Similar events are planned around the country (e.g. Dunedin Farmers Market) on Saturday, 19 September. Please keep an eye on your emails for ways you can support this event.
