Action Plan goals
The Action Plan for New Zealand Women is a whole-of-government plan to improve women’s lives in the home, workplace and community.
There are actions to improve outcomes for disabled women.
- Promote participation of disabled women to improve their quality of life (action 3.1.1).
- Value families, whanau and people providing ongoing support to those with a disability (action 3.1.1).
- Consider perspectives of disabled women in development of government policy or initiatives (action 3.1.1).
- Enhance the accessibility of government services using information and communications technology to benefit women with disabilities (action 3.1.4).
